Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and maintenance and electronic repair of CCTV systems and all devices supported by the Surveillance Department.
- Decrease down time and increase mean time between failure through effective periodic preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day a week operation, (on call).
- Communications with other departments to insure time and work schedule do not interfere with daily operations of departments effected.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of the Surveillance Department.
- Recognizes that employees have certain personal responsibilities, which affect the operational efficiency of the casino.
- Maintain proper attendance in accordance with casino policy. Reports to work on time in accordance with casino policy, Provides adequate notice to supervisor prior to absence or lateness in accordance with casino policy.
- Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the casino, and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of every person (visitors, co-workers).
- Due to the changes and modifications in your job from time to time, we require employees to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as management sees the necessity. Some assignments may not be listed in this description at this time.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work with walking, standing, carrying, lifting, sitting, and stooping is required.
- Climbing ladders and the ability to work at heights in a lift also required.
- Subject to outside and inside environmental conditions, including working in a smoking environment.
Job Requirements:
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the laws of the United States and the State of Minnesota is required.
- Knowledge of surveillance and equipment (cameras, VCRs, computers, etc.) is required.
- The ability to lead and supervise is required.
- The ability to manage efficiently is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
- Ability and skill in using video equipment, to include cameras, camera installation, recorders, and time elapse equipment is required.
- Completion of Blackjack/21 training is required.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions is required.
- Incumbent must be available to work a variety of hours on a random basis.
- Incumbent is subject to bonding, security checks, and other pre-employment screening requirements.
- Some travel is required.
